The Fifth Brigade of the Texas Division
The Texas Division is divided into twelve separate brigades of command. Each brigade is led by a Brigade Commander under the direct command of the Texas Division Commander.
The 5th Brigade covers Northeast Texas: Bowie, Camp, Cass, Delta, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Hopkins, Lamar, Marion, Morris, Rains, Red River, Titus, Upshur and Wood counties, together with parts of Smith and Van Zandt.

Eligibility
Ready to join?
Membership is open to any male descendant, direct or collateral, of a Confederate soldier, sailor or member of the government. Proof of service is established through the veteran’s record and your line of descent from him — and the camps of this brigade will help you trace it.
